Base Fret
= the lowest fret shown in the chord chart
Notation = the frets in relationship to that base fret.
For example:
The lowest fret in the chord chart is the 6th fret. That means that in the
notation box where you see 1 is really the 6th fret. The 3 is the 8th fret.
